After investing over 4,000 hours researching the Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) market since its inception, we've identified what developers need most: certainty in navigating BNG requirements.

We have been working in this space since mandatory BNG was introduced, and have built the relationships, knowledge, and systems to make it straightforward for property developers of all sizes.
Understanding the BNG Challenge
When we started out two years ago, we thought BNG would be more of a transactional purchase for developers - quite arm's length. What we've discovered is that people need real assistance and guidance throughout the entire process.
As our founder Ian explains: "It's not just about finding the cheapest, best price units, it's actually helping them through the transaction, explaining how it all works, making sure the paperwork's right for the LPA, making sure their scheme is compliant and getting them right through."

Getting To Certainty
For most clients, the process begins when a developer knows they need offsite units. They have a DEFRA metric, an ecology report, and a specific requirement - but they don't know how much it will cost or how to proceed.
This is where our expertise comes in. We evaluate the DEFRA metric, ensure there are no mistakes, and verify everything is in order. Then we begin searching for the right units.
"We have the biggest coverage of anyone. We represent pretty much everyone, all of the habitat banks that are out there. All of the major players and all the small indies as well,” says Ian. What BNG Certainty Means
Our service provides clients with up to four options for BNG units. We explore which units are available locally, what prices are being offered, and whether suppliers can meet your timeline.
